GETTING ORGANIZED…

IF YOU DON’T KNOW WHERE YOU ARE GOING–HOW DO YOU KNOW HOW TO GET THERE?

In order for you to be a success you need to do some planning first.  Otherwise you’ll try to do too many things at once and you’ll become confused, over-worked and underpaid.   There are  3 plans you want to create:

Your Business Plan:

Build a mailing list, a blog, a squeeze page, create traffic, etc. (All the functions of your business)

Your Entrepreneur Plan:

What are your goals. How many hours do you want to work?  How much money do you want to make?

Your Personal Plan:

Do you want to take a vacation?  Do you want to buy a new car, a new house?

You can’t run a business without being organized, but if you’re organized then you’re ready and set up for success.

  • Plan a year ahead then break that into 4-90 day plans.
  • Break your first 90 day plan into 3 month plans.
  • Then create a 4 week plan from month 1.
  • Then break down week 1 into daily tasks.
  • Then plan tomorrow today.

Keep your focus so you won’t get lost.  Do the most urgent tasks first.  This will determine your success online.  Do this and your life will change.

AN IDIOT WITH A PLAN WILL ALWAYS BEAT A GENIUS WITHOUT A PLAN!

Very well said Gigi. I messed up my plan so many times but I think the point here is to start organizing our work and get rid of unnecessary habits.

    Hi Gigi,

Nice points. I wonder if planning can be outsourced But that would take planning, wouldn’t it? I think I must be a genius as I seem not to have too much of a plan, except to try to keep up with Alex. Your blog is looking nice.

    Hi Gigi

Had wanted to live in Calgary or Edmonton when I was young, due to close proximity to the Rockies and the cold winters and snow (now virtually none existing in London, UK 2008/09 excepted).

Anyway like the layout of your blog and you have good giveaways. Would like to giveaway Alex Jeffreys list building product on my blog but not sure how.

    Good luck.

    Ian.

    Hey Gigi,
You apparently are a genious with plan and doing your tasks consequently and planned.
Great blog with great content and your last sentence an Idiot with plan…. is the best and striking phrase I heard and believe me I heard many of them.
But sticking to one, which is not only good to read and easily to digest,is the task of the day.It must be applicable and doable.
I know it too well, that´s often a hard thing to do to stick to my daily plan, which I outline and paragraph each morning before I fire up my PC.My motto is: First things first and then the rest of the stuff ;-)
I have a daily plan, a weekly, monthly and yearly plan and with the help and support of Dean and the rest of the group we hopefully will be successful and that´s what is all about, isn´t it ?!
Well Gigi, success is yours, I´m so sure !

I am a student of Alex Jeffreys I have been looking around at fellow students blogs and came across yours. Definitely one of the best. I felt I had to leave a comment because your blog is simply, so inspirational and informative, It has given me hope and ideas to better mine.
It is so clean and fresh looking. I am always worried I overdo it myself, to much content you know. Your blog is just right. I would appreciate if you would pass comment on mine just to confirm I haven’t overdone it. On my blog I am doing a theme on successful internet marketers. Really like to know what you think as I am pretty new to all this layout stuff. I hope one day that I can write about your internet success. Keep up the good work

    Hi Gigi,

This is the first time I have popped by your blog. I am a student Masterclass Student of John Thornhill’s and found your link on one of my fellow students blogs that is also doing Alex’s course.

You have outlined an excellent plan on operating an online business. Another thing I find great to remain focused and on target is to actually write my monthly tasks on cards and place them on a pin board above my desk.

When I look at the pin board every time I sit at my computer it reminds me of what I need to do for the week.

Good luck with what you are doing. It is great to see some fellow women online :D . No offense guys

    Stay Focused, Kind Regards,
